Imara Construction has been our regular go to company for several years now for all types of flooring including hardwood, tile and carpeting. They also handle painting and carpentry for us as well. They are quick to respond, show up when they say they are going too and the quality of work is great. The most recent project involved repairing and then carpeting a set of stairs for one of our long time clients and as we expected everything turned out great, the client was thrilled and commented on how professional Erik was to work with. We highly recommend them and will continue to use them.Read More

Erik and Gigi have been amazing in helping me figure out how to go about my most recent project!
Back story: I am converting my house into a rental property after roughly 5 years living in it and needless to say it’s not as easy as I thought it’d be. The house has a laundry list of things that need to be done before it’s ready to rent out!
The process: After reaching out to Gigi via the company email with a preliminary list of items, Erik did a walk through of the house that same week to help me figure out what else needed to be done. He answered questions I had about potential project timelines, material selection, and reassured me that their team is well trained. He and Gigi helped me prioritize which projects were urgently needed and which could be done at a later date to make sure I could financially space everything out!
I later spoke with Gigi more in detail about the process and cost of for the for all the items I selected to move forward with and while asking her questions I noticed she was not only knowledgable with all the administrative processes but made sure I was at ease with everything before finalizing the quote and requesting the deposit payment. After reviewing the quote, and comparing with other contractor quotes, theirs was definitely the most reasonably priced.
Current Project items selected (to name a few): Repainting main level of town house, spot painting upstairs and basement, changing out kitchen light fixture, installing bannister for basement stairs, patching carpet on the 2nd floor, resealing master bathroom tiles.
A few future projects: refinishing hardwood floors, repainting 2nd floor, and switching out kitchen cabinets
As of right now they are set to start 3/27/26 and complete it all by 3/30/26. I believe its all going to come out great and Ive even entrusted Gigi with selecting the paint color! I will give an update on how everything turns out!!Read More
